Key points: I am working with a successful firm of financial planners with their head office in Hertfordshire. They have a number of lucrative joint ventures throughout the home counties, as well as a portfolio of clients for an adviser to inherit, so if you are an adviser that feels that their current firm doesn't give enough clients or leads, read on.The company in question has grown its AUM from £120 million to £225 million in the last 12 months. They have accomplished this through an excellent network of professional introducers including accountants and solicitors as well as some important joint ventures with large national firms. They have 4 advisers working from their head office, as well as a team of administrators and paraplanners. They offer advice to private clients on pensions and investments as well as some tax planning services too. All of their advisers are writing over £130, 000 in fees each year so there is some very strong production figures, particularly from this office.They are looking to take on an employed adviser to be working with one of their joint ventures, a mortgage broker that work on a national scale. They have found that a huge amount of business that could be done for these clients is being let go because they don't have the man power for all of the clients to be spoken to. For this reason there is no need for the incoming adviser to bring any clients at all. The Candidate will be paid a salary of between £35, 000 and £45, 000 depending on qualifications, but you will only be expected to validate this salary at 2.5 times before earning bonus on top.
