Important job duties and Vacancy responsibilities The Candidate will be primarily located in an academic environment as a full member of the Department of Surgery of the University of Cambridge. The Candidate will be expected to contribute to the publication of manuscripts, the presentation of findings at scientific meetings, the writing of give applications, supervision of PhD students and the administration of a Home Office license. Your job duties will include being responsible for the development and application of humanized mouse and patient derived tumor (PDX) models for the opinionof novel immunotherapies (e.g. anti-PD1, anti-CTLA4 and anti-CD28). This will include taking consent from cancer patients, collecting samples from operating theatre, engraftment of immunodeficient mice with human cells and the opinionof the efficacy and safety of immunotherapeutics administrated to PDX mouse models.
