Key points: Guidant Social Care is employing a Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) and a Children's OT for permanent roles in the London Borough of Hillingdon Uxbridge.
To use Occupational Therapy knowledge and approaches to allow children and young people with severe physical, sensory and/or learning disabilities to be located as independently as possible while supporting their development. The Candidate will be expected to complete an appropriate assessment or review and ask as required problem solve and set goals plan implement and evaluate your interventions organise services give information and advice to clients, their parents, family and carers. Approaches may include providing expert advice, prescribing equipment including expert seating, moving and handling plans, recommending minor and major adaptations.
The primary role will be to give a OT professional assessment and services to children and young people across the borough, through the efficient and successful management of a client caseload.
