There are 3 main types of Electrician Jobs in the UK:
Installation electricians test and install wiring systems. These are often for lighting, security, fire, automatic doors and smoke alarms etc.
Maintenance electricians test and maintain electrical equipment. They can work in factories or assembly lines. They are usually working in industrial or commercial environments.
Production electricians deal with complex electrical appliances from wiring diagrams.
