Main responsibilities of the role
Produce comprehensive civil and structural design packages for all aspects of civil and structural design
Lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages across multiple projects, as part of a single or multi discipline design team
Carry out any or all stages of civil and structural design from concept to completion across sectors including rail, science and technology, waste to energy, aviation and healthcare

Chartered Engineer

Fully conversant with current codes, standards and responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations

This involves checking and demanding the technical / engineering integrity of the project throughout the project lifecycle • Develop and keepexcellent working relationships with the other discipline heads and leads • checkand develop junior staff, managing supervision and line management • Liaising with clients and stakeholders • Maintaining an up to date knowledge and understanding of developments within the Energy from Waste/ broader engineering industry called for Requirements: • Degree educated with a proven track record in an engineering role • Currently in an Engineering Manager, Engineering Director, Technical Director or similar role • Broad engineering background with an understanding an appreciation of multiple disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical and Process • An extensive background of developing complex engineering projects - projects that have been successfully delivered, and are currently operational • Project experience would include large industrial process plants, O&G plants, refineries, Energy from Waste plants, Biomass plants, pharmaceutical plants, incinerators, Power Plants, CCGT, Coal fired plants or other thermal power generation plants • Exposure to developing and implementing engineering strategies • Sharp commercial acumen • History of consistent delivery of projects on time and to budget within a demanding commercial environment • A team player who is no stranger to ‘rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in’ as called for ..........
