Main responsibilities of the role
Produce comprehensive civil and structural design packages for all aspects of civil and structural design
Lead the delivery of civil and structural design packages across multiple projects, as part of a single or multi discipline design team
Carry out any or all stages of civil and structural design from concept to completion across sectors including rail, science and technology, waste to energy, aviation and healthcare
Lead a multi-disciplinary design team where required

Chartered Engineer

CRE/CRM qualified and full PTS certification preferred for rail projects
Fully conversant with current codes, standards and responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations
Comprehensive and current knowledge base of all aspects of civil and structural design
A comprehensive knowledge of drainage, foundation design, earthworks and site investigations, minor road and bridge design, building structures, and rail civil and structural design
Full understanding and delivery of form approvals and assurance/ sign off requirements
Proven and demonstrable track record of exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction
Experience of major projects delivery within some of the sectors we operate within
Fully familiar with all technical standards and assurance processes
Exceptional communication skills
Proven ability to work within a fully integrated, multi-discipline design team
