Your challenge

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

Responsibility and accountability for the management of all new IT deployments, including but not limited to, User Accounts, PC Hardware, PC Software, Landline telephony hardware and services, Mobile devices and services, Print devices and services in accordance with the prescribed IT Service Catalogue Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Responsibility for provisioning of Desktop/Laptop equipment utilising standard imaging technologies and packaging/deployment software
Responsibility for continuous review and update of build processes, liaising where it proves necessary with the Infrastructure Team to implement improvements and updates as and when required.
Responsibility for the continuous review of Request fulfilment processes, working closely with all other Service Support teams to make sure a consistent approach with all relevant Request information being captured accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibility for managing customer expectation and satisfaction in relation to Request fulfilment. Regularly interact and communicate with customers in a professional manner to make sure high levels of customer satisfaction are consistently achieved.
Responsibility for the management of vendors and 3rd party support providers where appropriate to make sure timely deployment and implementation of new services
Responsibility and accountability for hardware asset lifecycle management and ensuring all necessary asset data is captured and recorded in the Asset Management Database in adherence with the current Hardware Asset Management processes
Working closely with other Service Support Teams to make sure all faulty hardware assets that are replaced by new hardware are returned to the Service Delivery Team
Responsibility for managing software deployments and ensuring software licenses are available, recorded and allocated appropriately prior to any installation.
Responsibility for the collation and publishing of weekly Service Request KPI statistics and reports
Serve as Service Delivery Team technical representative for IT related Projects where delivery of new or changed services is necessary

Key skills & experience

Desired: ITIL (v2 or v3) Foundation Level (minimum)
Educated to degree level (preferably IT-related) or equivalent experience (MCDST and COMPTIA A+)
