Purchasing Analyst

As a candidate, are you a Purchasing Analyst looking for a new challenge? Have you an automotive background? As a candidate, are you a member of the CIPS (or working towards)? If so read on as this could be the ideal role for you The client I am representing was currently experiencing a sustained period of growth and because of this, was looking for a Purchasing Assistant to ensure the purchase order process was adhered to by following the company purchasing procedures on site and liaising with the appropriate managers accordingly.
Obtaining 3 Quotes where it proves necessary and providing documented evidence of this requirement for all PO's including providing written evidence of reasons why the Process wasn't followed when deviation occurs.
Please note this job for Purchasing Analyst was advertised some time ago and is now withdrawn.
1. The responsibilities of the role are Creation of all Non Production PO's - after a completed & authorised PO Requisition was submitted and issuing of PO numbers.
2. Creation of all Non Production Vendors ensuring the correct forms are used and obtaining the correct sign-off. Many opportunities within the organisation. Dealing with/investigating and escalating all Purchases without a valid PO query.

Following up on all Emergency PO's and ensuring a Standard Non Production PO was raised within 24hrs and sign-off obtained

Key points: This position is responsible for managing the global commodity purchasing team who are responsible for the commercial purchasing of ECUs, Motors, PCBAs and Relays used in Steering, Braking and Occupant Safety applications.
