Applicants should have a proven track record of selling within the materials handling / industrial vehicle sector. Vacancy responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager will include: Achievement of annual sales objectives set for your territory. Achieve all margin objectives that are set and control exceptional receivables for customers you are responsible for. Agree an Annual Business Plan with each dealer, against specific objectives set by the Company and work closely with the dealer to ensure full support and motivation is provided to achieve this Plan. Carry out end user visits to key and important customers, with or without dealer sales personnel present. Identify dealer training needs and carry out sales training as necessary in conjunction with International Training Manager. Prepare or assist in the organising and preparation of quotations for direct sales for dealers, particularly targeting contractors, expert vehicle users and large municipalities. Keep recent or current records on all dealers, provide timely visit reports following all dealer visits and provide a detailed monthly report on all aspects of your sales operation. Identify, develop and promote new sales opportunities. Identify and report vulnerabilities in the Company’s sales activities. In particular keep contingency plans and SWOT analysis for each area recent or current at least quarterly. As you would expect, we require the Regional Sales Manager to back their relevant sales experience in the industry sector with an appropriate level of commercial awareness and good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. The Candidate should be thoroughly at ease with engineering / mechanical issues. The role of Regional Sales Manager offers a basic salary in the region of £30000-£32000 pa with a very realistic OTE of £42000 pa. nonetheless, the demand for the product is very high and candidates should be aware that the bonus scheme is uncapped.
