Perpetual Partnerships have a dedicated manufacturing division who's focus is partnering with some of the best manufacturing businesses on a global scale. At present we are working with a busy manufacturing business who are going through a sustained period of growth in both the UK and overseas. For this growth the business are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer/Project Engineer who can support the installation of new equipment and the implementation of a PPM system.
This job offer First and foremost this will be a enterprising and varied role offering a range of challenges from routine breakdowns through to working with OEM providers to upgrade and renew equipment within the manufacturing area. Your job duties will include being responsible for looking at existing processes and procedures with a view to implementing your own planned maintenance system that will suit the business and their needs. Once this is achieved you will have responsibility for dealing with CAPEX projects including the opening of a brand new manufacturing hall and all of the equipment within it. Within this position the employee will be the technical expert on site and as a result will be expected to plan prioritise and delegate work when needed.
The Person The chosen jobseeker for this new vacancy will have served an apprenticeship within Electrical Engineering. On top of this you will have a solid grasp of control systems and have the skillto make modifications to software when needed. The Candidate will be enterprising and flexible and understand that the business runs in batch production therefore the issues can range from morning to afternoon. The Candidate will have excellent organisational skills and ideally have experience of supporting the implementation of a planned maintenance scheme where possible.
