Your job duties will include being responsible for the manufacture, installation, commissioning and service of electrical and electronic control systems and the employee will report to the Electrical Supervisor. Your duties will be as follows; To work professionally especially when on clients' sites and ensure ongoing site discipline. To build electrical and electronic control elements in accordance with the design documentation supplied, assisting design with the R&D process and pre-production modelling. To liaise with all levels of staff. To install cable systems, wiring and electronic systems. To test electrical wiring systems and prepare systems for demonstration to the Electrical Supervisor for the verification and compliance following modifications and appropriate debugging processes. To prepare systems for demonstration, authorisation & approval both internally via the Project Manager and by the Customer. To keepas built, design records and ensure data is transmitted to the Electrical Supervisor to allow document revision and give maintenance and repair support. To conduct preventative and fault repairs to electrical wiring systems. Health and Safety compliance. To have experience in switch gear/instrumentation wiring. To have soldering skills of a high standard and be familiar with hand crimping tools. The prospective employer is operating a shift pattern of alternate earlies (6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon - Thurs, 6 a.m. - 12 p.m. Friday) and lates (1.45 p.m. - 11.15 p.m. Mon - Thur, Fri off) Overtime available.
