The role of an Internal Quality Assurer is to enhance the quality of the learner journey by providing support, response and development to the assessors within the Apprenticeship Team; with a shared view to driving high standards and improving assessment practice. The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an Internal Verifier/ IQA with a background in Social Media and Marketing and pan sector. the employee will also need to have successful written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Key Vacancy responsibilities Plan and carry out appropriate levels of internal quality assurance activity in allocated sector areas and keepall relevant documentation and records on an on-going basis. Prepare data summaries and reports as called for by either Curriculum or Operations Management. Ensure all assessments are carried out in line with the qualification assessment strategy, awarding organisation requirements, and appropriate Codes of Practice. Ensure staff are supported through training and development activities to achieve relevant skills and qualifications as requested. checkcountersigning activities for those assessors who may be high risk or unqualified. Assist the LQA in the updating and development of training materials, resources and manuals as and when requested. Conduct and checkthe direct observations of the assessment team and give response on areas of future training and development needs. Support the LQA on external quality visits from awarding bodies. Carry out the internal verification of the assessment of candidates in the workplace including viewing necessary portfolios. Liaise with external agencies including employers, NSAs and SSCs to enhance curriculum development and innovation. Assist in the development of course review mechanisms to ensure a high quality service to students, employers, and other appropriate stakeholders. Skills and Experience called for: Appropriate NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) level 3 / 4 professional qualifications. A1 and V1 or equivalent. Substantial record of work experience in the relevant subject sector area. Experience as an Internal Verifier/IQA. Demonstrable positive impact on provision through carrying out the role of IV/IQA.
