Have you an interest in research & development plus:
* Grade C or above in GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.
* GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in science based subjects or HNC in Chemistry would be preferable. If so then this could be the role for you.
* Could you agree practical laboratory work, including; small scale paint manufacture, colour matching, raw material evaluations, paint application, physical testing of paints, chemical resistance testing of paints, preparation of external weathering samples, use of spray equipment and booths.
* the employee will become fully competent in the use of the lab task system, utilising all sections for completion and tracability of laboratory projects.
* the employee will agree record keeping: including reports, enquiries, timesheets, samples & panels.
* the employee will assist with analytical work, including paint solids determination, and flashpoint determination.
