Key points: The prospective employer is a well established family run business specialising and focusing in the sales and service of garden and estate machinery throughout Preston and Lancaster. They pride themselves on honest values and supply some of the most prestigious estates with enviable supplier contracts in place.

Due to growth they are now looking for a second pair of hands to help co-ordinate the sales and service departments whilst managing the showroom and dealing with customer enquiries and sales.

About the job:
Reporting to the Managing Director it will be your responsibility to co-ordinate the customers, suppliers and the workshop to make sure that the company can continue to give their high level of customer service. Your daily duties will include:

Obtaining quotes and getting best prices from suppliers
Managing, controlling and dealing with the parts orders from manufactures
Co-ordinating the sales and service departments daily and ensuring stock levels are maintained
Processing internal and external parts orders and updating the IT system with invoices
Dispatching parts by post, receiving and booking in machinery
Verifying customer credit lines and relevant administration
Assisting in scheduling parts for the workshop
Ensuring relevant details obtained from the customers to instruct the workshop on the required repairs and give outstanding customer service

About you:

Experience is not required but you will have skills that can be transferred and ideally worked within a parts, retail or stock control environment.

The Candidate must be:

PC literate with MS Office skills
Personable with brilliant people & conversation discuss issues and skillto positively interact
skillto solve problems through to conclusion
High Attention to detail
