IT SALES PERSON

Location: Basildon Essex Jobs

Key points: An established and leading provider of IT services in the South East is looking to expand their sales dept and sales team with two new positions. The first role will be to sell service contracts to new customers and the second to sell off site backup solutions to new clients. Both roles will involve cold calling and visiting client sites, IT experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided as will an allowance for any travel to and from appointments. The commission for the service contract role is as follows:- Commission of 10% will be earned on the annualised cost of any service contract sold. The commission for the off-site backup role is as follows:- Commission of 10% will be earned on the annualised cost of any backup contract sold. If the sales person sells more than a one year deal for example three years then the same commission will apply but will be paid on each anniversary of the contract. Key points: This job offer: Our Laindon based client, a Global Logistics company are looking for an experience internal sales executive to help their outside sales dept and sales team. The successful candidate MUST have industry experience Duties will include: • Providing back up office support to a field based sales dept and sales team • Generating sales • Booking and sales appointments for sales managers (mainly from warm leads) • Preparing quotes and tenders and following them up • Attending trade shows • Canvassing perspective customers (telesales) • Making initial bookings with carrier or agents • Assist in development of sales and marketing literature The Person: The successful candidate MUST have industry experience and have worked in a sales environment.
