Branch Sales Managers are potentially on call 24 hours a day in an emergency and will use their judgement based on experience to remedy any customer problems outside normal working hours. The working environment is typical of the transport industry and the job requires both indoor and outdoor working.

Low manning levels often require staff to manage without direct supervision and work flexibly when required. The jobholder is responsible for maintaining staff motivation and commitment despite being out of the office frequently.
