This position will be based at our clients Totton office and the employee will be selling Managed Services. This will require you to be extremely consultative and intelligent in your sales approach, you'll have to get past the gatekeepers, quickly build rapport and have the ability to persuade decision makers in a variety of businesses. It goes without saying that you'll enjoy negotiating with them, handling all objections and will use your initiative to win business. By achieving an annual target, the employee will reap the rewards of a great uncapped commission scheme. Key points: Our Client needs an experienced IT sales person to manage a large number of their currently trading business client accounts. Clients are SMBs throughout the Hampshire area, mostly varying in size from 2 to 50 users. The successful candidate would be expected to build and keeprelationships with relevant decision-makers. This will be done both via face-to-face meetings and by telephone to keepexisting revenue streams. Targets will be set which the candidate would be expected to achieve and exceed. He/she will be expected to renew existing services including system support contracts, managed backup services, spam and virus protection services etc. They will also be expected to upsell extra products and win new network upgrade work such as server and whole network installations. A constant stream of new clients will be provided after they are brought on-board by the new sales dept and sales team. There will be no cold calling involved in this role. Any new business sales in which the successful candidate would be involved would be via inbound enquiries (normally web enquiries) or referrals from currently trading business clients. A competitive basic salary will be provided together with commission for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. Basic hours (working) are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm from Weekdays excluding public holidays. Annual leave right is 20 days plus public holidays rising to 23 days after three years.
