The Person:

A fair amount of autonomy comes with this Sales role which therefore means a high degree of self-management as well as the drive and determination to get out there and get the job done is expected.

Realistically you will have spent at least 2 years in a field sales product based role selling into commercial vehicle trailer specifiers/body builders as well as into the wider commercial vehicle fleet sector.

The geographical area covered is a big one and as such living towards the central part of the territory would be ideal. There will however be the need for the occasional overnight stay.

Although commercial vehicle sales experience is preferred The prospective employer would also consider suitably experienced applications from sales professionals in the car sector who feel they have the adaptability to cross over into the commercial vehicle sector.

An increase in manufacturing capacity together with a growing UK customer base has created the need for a talented and knowledgable Sales professional with prior experience working in the CV, Bus or Coach sector is necessary to oversee both new and existing "builds" from cradle to grave. The Candidate will take full ownership for these projects and you will have a lucrative customer base of "end-users" including fleet organisations such as Vehicle Rental, Pharmaceutical and Food/Drink industries.

This is a role that will eventually lead to you managing Key Accounts or overseeing a Sales team as the customer portfolio grows, in the meantime your in-house design team will offer you their full support when working on a project. Get ready to leap out of bed in the morning

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Experience in selling to Commercial Vehicle Fleets or Leasing companies - required.
Commercial Vehicle industry experience - required.
Full Driving Licence - required.
