The Opportunity; Reporting to the Acute Nursing Operations Manager, you would act as an Initial point of telephone contact for customers and nurses, dealing with clients and shift allocation in relation to all aspects of our business, respond to telephone enquiries from clients and field staff, performing routine and complex transactions and customer care activities Provide telephone guidance and support to field staff working in placements To present a professional, courteous and knowledgeable telephone service to clients, service users, field staff and colleagues alike As the RN, the employee will be working in a small team, utilising your nursing knowledge, experience and registration.

Attend staff meetings as required by the Home's Manager or Deputy Manager. Delivery of Care to Residents To direct the staff team reporting to you on each shift to deliver quality care to all residents and to appraise and supervise assigned staff. To ensure that all of the resources available for the delivery of care are used successfully, and that wastage does not occur. To ensure that each resident has an up to date Care Plan with steady evaluations and with aims to provide an appropriate quality of life for that individual. To ensure that the physical, social, psychological and emotional needs of residents are recognised, assessed and met. To deliver, and to ensure that junior staff deliver, the planned care; and to participate in the evaluation of the care of residents. In particular, but not exclusively, to: Assist residents who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and toilet. Help residents who have mobility and continence problems using the appropriate aids and equipment. Care for residents who are terminally ill. Assist residents in physical and social activities. Ensure that residents sleeping, living and eating are as safe, comfortable, clean and free from odours. Help residents with feeding, prepare light meals and set tables and trays.
