Applicants, who will be graduates with a 2:1 Science based degree preferably in Chemistry/Material Science (Polymers), must be able to show the ability to successfully sell technically advanced products to industrial users through customer trials/ demonstrations, and operate successfully at all levels within the customers' structure. They are also required to provide technical support to the existing customer base. A background of selling formulated chemical systems would be a distinct advantage or a candidate with experience in a technical role with some customer support who is now looking to move into technical sales. The position offers an excellent base salary and the successful applicant should be able to earn at least £6, 000 more per year in commission.
