Overview Reporting directly to the Electrical Services Manager, the job holder will be expected to act as an engineering expert on days to ensure safe operation and maintenance of the electrical distribution system, providing continuity of manufacturing to specified quality standards. Vacancy responsibilities To provide advice and resources within Electrical Services team to diagnose and solve complex faults on the electrical distribution system and other equipment and, where appropriate, recommend improvements to be made. To organise and supervise resources to carry out breakdown repairs and planned maintenance work (carrying out such duties personally, where appropriate) ensuring that all work is completed on time and to appropriate safety, environmental, and engineering standards. To ensure health & safety policy standards are implemented and that statutory requirements are complied with - including isolations and permit systems. To maintain comprehensive reports and records on all activities in computerised and manual systems. To undertake training of other engineering personnel as required.
