    1. The successful candidate will have either immediate availability or be available on short notice and have good knowledge/experience of IFRS.
    2. A high degree of systems literacy will be expected particularly with Excel, as was a personable manner, the ability to work under reasonable pressure on occasion and meet deadlines. A rare opportunity has just arisen for a enterprising Graduate Assistant Financial Accountant to be working with the group finance team.

    The Candidate will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and will be instrumental in terms of providing a comprehensive financial support to the group accounting function. The salary banding is quite flexible on this particular role as the client has stressed he is open to the level of the jobseeker for this new vacancy in terms of where they are in their studies, as long as they are actively studying towards either CIMA or ACCA.

    Duties & Vacancy responsibilities will include:-

    - Support legal reporting requirements within the UK
    - Consolidating group accounts from the various sites across the UK
    - Responsible for all accounting activities of the group enabling functions.
    - Assist in the preparation and completion of annual statutory accounts and tax packs
    - Complete cost centre and balance sheet reviews.
    - Complete monthly commentary to senior management
    - listand enter various forecasts and plans to deadlines

    To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:-
    - Degree in Accounting & Finance (2:1 of a 1st)
    - Strong A level results (360 UCAS Points)
    - Desire to study towards further qualifications (i.e. CIMA or ACCA)
    - Strong commercial acumen
    - Confident and resilient nature
    - exemplary conversational and conversation discuss issues and skillto positively interact
    - skillto adhere to strict deadlines
    - Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word etc.
