Financial Accountant Huddersfield – Permanent Role My client was currently employing for a financial accountant, the role was needed to provide monthly accounts and to improve reporting, understanding and controls around key business processes such as stock movements, cash handling and also to review and improve system controls Responsibilities This role was responsible for producing month end management accounts, VAT returns, reconciling all stock movements on a steady basis, implementing and maintaining a tight cash control and for continuously reviewing and amending both system and physical control processes Key Tasks • Month end management accounts • Involvement in the audited accounts review • Weekly / Monthly reconciliation of all stock movements • Working with the Commercial department to control the invoicing and subsequent payment of Vendor Income • Weekly / Monthly reconciliation of all cash movements • Reconciling numerous cash control accounts to system movements • Constantly reviewing system controls • Implementing new controls where weaknesses are identified • Working closely with the IT team to interrogate system issues • Working on numerous business projects as required • Ad hoc project work as requested by the financial controller or MD For more and comprehensive information and details apply online .
