Vacancy responsibilities the Pre Delivery Inspector will carry out:
- To conduct Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR's), on all new product introductions and components subject to engineering change
- To produce and distribute ISIR reports
- To agreeISIR components
- Investigate non-conforming products produced with all processes held within the review areas and produce reports for distribution to the QHSE Manager
- Sampling inspection of in process components to inspection plans produced by quality engineers
- Assist PDI inspector when required to meet delivery targets
- listfull dimensional reports to fulfil PPAP requirements through manual & Faro Arm Equipment
- PDI inspection of piece parts for Caterpillar DESV, JCB & NIMR when required to achieve delivery targets
- PDI inspection of NIMR cabs both pre-paint & post-paint, including leak test procedure
- Assist with dimensional inspection work where required in line with customer requirements
- listIPI reports & balloon drawings
- Roaming sample inspections of parts in Lasers, Press & Machine Shop
Knowledge, Skills, Experience the ideal Pre Delivery Inspector will have:
- Knowledge of using basic measuring equipment (Vernier's, Thread Gauges, Tapes and Rulers)
- Computer Literate
- Basic understanding of Quality systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Lifting /Slinging / magnet experience
- Crane experience
